Past Event- SPCA Animal Par-Tea @ Palate Palette

More than 50 people and 30 dogs attended SPCA Animal Par-Tea @ Palate Palette the 26th April 09! Snacking on delicious sandwiches, cookies, crème brulee, potato wedges, and mousse cups, animal lovers mingled and chatted happily among themselves.

The pet photography session sponsored by Ms Fiona (http://www.fifoto.com/) was very popular, as were the pet accessories by thirtyfour (http://www.thirtyfour.net/)! OxyFresh also set up a booth, where they offered to get everyone’s ears squeaky –clean (dogs only, of course.)

Proceeds from the Par-Tea will be channeled towards a Pulau Ketam fund – SPCA and Save A Stray will be embarking on a mass sterilization operation on the island, which is facing a stray dog crisis. Watch out for their next gathering, coming your way real soon!

TheSurvivalStore- will be contributing some goods such as Fashion Accessories and Clothes- on behalf of habitat 7 & Musikhaus Enrichment center- to the SRI KDU "Teacher's day Special". The SRI KDU marketing staff will be selling them and just like our previous Charity bazaar, goods will be sold and proceeds donated. The only difference is there is no bazaar for this event and goods will be sold to SRI KDU's students, parents & staff.

To all SRI KDU's students & parents....help yourself by helping others.

Blockbuster 'Terminator Salvation' Charity Screening-Movie Premier

The FPA (Family Planning Association of Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan) is organizing a Charity Screening for the blockbuster TERMINATOR SALVATION, proceeds go to purchasing a van for as a ‘Mobile Clinic’ for those in need particularly refugee children in isolated places. Btw, this is a Movie Premier held on the 26th of May (Tuesday), 8.30pm TGV KLCC. The movie only officially screens nationwide on the 28th.So be the first to catch it and give a little salvation to those in need.

3 ticket tiers: RM100, 50 & 30. RM100 tix are tax deductable.

Even one ticket would make a difference. Tickets can be delivered to your house/office.

Chics-closet is moving Youtophia to KL!

Chics-closet now known as "Youtophia" found a new home. They will be having their last Youtophia on the 30th & 31st May @ Tropicana City Mall and...on the 13th June onwards, they will be re-launching their event @ LOT 10, Kuala Lumpur.

Past event- Music Festival v.s Retail Therapy @ the Monash University

This event was held on Saturday 25th April 09 @ the Monash University in Bandar Sunway.

Although business was slow (because of the RM15 cover charge) we did enjoyed ourselves. It was a good experience and we get to meet a lot of nice and talented people.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people.

First of all, to Alan for helping us to set up our store. Sorry for the short notice, we noticed that you did not sleep much the night before. Appreciate for your help.

Secondly, to our dear friend who never stop giving us support- whether in Miami or in KL- Lee Yin. Thanks for everything babe. Ya the best.

The International Charity Bazaar was held on 18 April 09 @ Sri KDU.

The bazaar aims to create awareness on the needs of the less fortunate and to raise funds for the following charities:

Sithamani Divine Life Ashram Orphanage
SPCA
Persatuan Jagaan Orang-orang Kurang Upaya & Terbiar
Lovely Shuang Fu Disabled Independent Living

Guess what? habitat7 & our sister company- Musikhaus Enrichment Centre were the 2nd highest contributor for this charity campaign. Bravo!!!! And of course, a big TQ to those who supported and helped us during the event.
